It depends on if he wants to protect our country or if he would rather be popular among Democrats.

No president I vote for will pull out before the job is done.

I am certain on two things about this.
1: We can't just pull everyone without repercussions to the safety of our troops. Whether the next president will up the pace remains to be seen, as does the identity of that president. Just a thought, Will you hate them if they don't?
2: My husband just got orders to go back for his second tour. So do I WANT them to all come home? You bet. Can we change it? Not in the least.

The next president, Democrat or Republican, will not leave Iraq -- simply because America needs guaranteed access to foreign oil. And Iraq has the second or third largest supplies in the world.

This war was started to gain control of that oil and to stay in control of that oil for the forseeable future. In the past four years, the US military has constructed a number of bases all over Iraq, all for permanent (as much as anything can be permanent) deployment of US forces. And, let's face it: the rest of the so-called coalition doesn't matter much to the likes of Bush and his gang.

Americans love to fight. Thems not my words; that's General George Patton talking, the best fighting general from World War II, 1939-1945. That tradition hasn't changed one bit; nor have the politics of American attempts for economic domination of the world.

You can only continue to dominate the world if your military-industrial base is running smoothly. And, for that, you MUST have oil -- until it runs out in 2050, or so.

So, look forward to a long, hot, dry deployment in the proxy-state of Iraq.

Next president will have to do this, otherwise he/she will be probably last president. It will take a lot to recover after comrad Bush, both economically and politically.
