it's amazing how some people react to news w/o the background knowledge or any idea what's going on "kill the terrorists"...saying that sitting in a nice comfortable chair in your bedroom slippers...how much pain will it be for you when your four year old daughter or son is killed in a raid attack? oh..sorry israel is "just" protecting itself

The more important question is how many terrorists Israel will kill.

The answer is if there are 1,000,000 terrorist they should kill them all.

Yeah it is glaring that some Israeli prisoners are actually not the rationalization for something. Israel tried to take after u.s. with the aid of mendacity to their electorate as a potential to circulate to conflict, yet they did it 0.5 assed and don't seem to care concerning to the transparency of the rationalization. a minimum of u.s. tries to back stuff up, like with WMD and stuff they have been struggling with for that for awhile. i do no longer think of participants of the Israeli government even bear in mind those soldeirs' names. it is like they pronounced 'Uh... i think of we've been given some human beings held with the aid of Lebanese OMGLETSGOATTACKATTACKATTACK'. i does no longer be stunned if the warriors are in some secret Israeli bunker livng nicely, or have been killed an prolonged time in the past and had their information ameliorations so as that they may be the perfect unfindable hostages. If the reason for the invasion of Iraq smelled humorous, this one has landfills and federal rubbish dumps meaning to the aroma. ok so does u.s. too, yet a minimum of the human beings are making an attempt to disguise it - spraying some summer season breeze crap around, the Israelis are only keeping their nostril and tell one yet another that their **** do no longer stink.

One life is worth everything and nothing. Soldier gives everything in pursuit of orders given to him by his country, and when he is is captivity , country( state) must do whatever it takes to get him back dead or alive. That gives the rest of the army assurance of being taken care of .
But if you talk about specifics in this war in Lebanon, 1 life is not worth so many civilian casualitys , but term "colateral damage" does the explaining.
So how many colateral damage are you ready to make, that is another question which the leaders are answering .
Is this war rightous, from Israeli point, if they succeed in destroying Hezballah capabilitys and most of the leadership, yes.
From USA view it is very profitable if the war succeds in its objectives, but from Arab view it seems just another slap in their faces. From Lebanon civilians view that are not in any military organization they are probably enemy , killers, destroyers of their peace (however it fragile was), but the civilians are victims of higher politics of Syria , Iran , Israel and USA. So all involved countrys are guilty parties for every civilian casuality.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie-roll Tootsie pop? The world may never know...or care.
A responsible country does not allow otherwise impotent rejects to pull that kind of crap within their borders. If we had wacko's knocking off Canadian mounted police at the US/Canada border, we (the US), would be there side by side with Canadian authorities trying to round them up and eliminate the problem.

If you are attacked will you fight back? If your son or daughter is kidnapped will you not risk your life to rescue them? If your son or daughter was kidnapped would you not accept the fact that police officers might die in an attempt to rescue them? Would that be alright for them to die to save your kids?

As many as it takes to bring Hezbollah and its supporters to their knees. At least Isreal is truly fighting back and taking it to their real enemy. Too bad the U.S. doesn't have the brains or balls to do the same thing.
