"As long as you're happy with yourself, it doesn't matter." Hmmm..... those are obviously words from someone that has NO wisdom.
Let me put that in the perspective of sex, sees being that answer was from a female...
I am happy with how good I was, but she wasn't thrilled cause she didn't think it was that good, but it doesn't matter, only I matter... doesn't sound real intelligent now does it?
You need to be as good as you can possibly be and never less than your best.
