California. U rarely get robbed in California (at least in the experience of me and othe ppl I know), but I hear about others getting mugged in NY all the time. Also, the sun's almost always shining, ppl are tanned and gorgeous, and everyone's pretty much always smiling.
We've got Disneyland, Hollywood, SF, Lake Tahoe, Reno, right next to Las Vegas if ur feelin bad, and lots of other fun attractions. Beaches are everywhere!
