Yes. It happens when you are supposed to get your period. But it's not as heavy and doesn't last as long. Implatation bleeding happens when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus wall.

Yes. Imaplantation bleeding is light spotting when a fertilized egg attatches itself to the uterine wall.....beginning of pregnancy. It happens a couple of days after an egg is fertilized during intercourse. Not every woman has implantation bleeding. But even at that point you wont get a postive preg. test, you have to be at least 2 wks along before your hCG (preg. hormones) levels are high enough for a test to pick up...a urine test that is, blood tests from a doctor can detect a pregnancy sooner.
