one of the oldest is a cockroach and another is a dragonfly, they existed before dinosaurs and the dragonfly was about a foot long.

I believe fossil cockroaches have been found in 300 million year old rocks..from the Pennsylvanian period.

im going to have to go with cockroach. they have adapted to almost everything and can even live thru a nuclear blast. if only i were one...
