I'm not sure where, but the people that live there will be all surprised, like 'Gee since I lived on the coast of FL I never thought a hurricane would hit here'. Then they will say 'Oh, I'll rebuild my house so I can be surprised in another 5 or 10 years'.

As a meteorologist I am going to go out on a limb and say NC is going to get hit. And Florida is going to get a few (already has one). Hopefully any stays away from the Gulf states especially. Please get up and go if you live near the coast if one is coming to your area. Closing I hope nobody gets hit even Central American and the Caribbean islands.
PS: I am not saying a cat 5 is going to hit NC I am just saying they will get hit by something tropical in nature.

CaptianCCC is no Nostradamus. N.C. statistically is the most likely state to be hit by a hurricane in any given year.
To the person who answered "New Orleans"...Is that a tornado out your window?
