Baggio is one of the greatest Italian players in his position.
He had something in him, I felt this indescribable joy whenever I watched him play.

But to call him the greatest ever is kinda biased.

Anyhow, this is your opinion and you have the right to classify him as the greatest.
After all this is a matter of opinion not even numbers or trophies can be used in judging who is the greatest.

Good old Roberto Baggio...is there nothing he couldn't do?!

He is definitely one of my favourite soccer players and one of the best all-time.

Pele was good, but Maradona was better. Maradona could compete against both European and South American soccer teams whereas Pele never strayed from Brazil. I once heard of a game when Pele's team Santos played a friendly with AC Milan in the 60's when Giovanni Trappatoni (former Italian national coach) was a defender. Pele was pulled after 15-20 minutes because Trappatoni had him too well covered. Pele...good player, but overrated.
