and i acceidently put it into lock mode by holding down the # button, i thought it was the redial. Now i cant do anything without answering a 4-digit code! i have no clue as to what it could be or how to exit lock mode, if anyone has had this problem before or knows what to do please help thanks very much.

Many times the original code settings for cellphones unless you have changed them are for four digit codes: 1234...six digit codes 123456. Call any wireless store that has your carrier and they will be able to help you unlock your phone.

whatever you do, don't try to guess the number. most phones will go into complete lock down after too many tries. take it to a verizon store and they can unlock it for you.

yes remove the battery and leave out about 15 min. and put back in and everything should reset to default and every thing will work properly
