I would greet you with open arms if you came here legally, otherwise, you need to get in line behind the thousands of applicants for immigration. I don't care what nationality you belong to, but If you want to come here, do it legally.

I would like to see more legal immigration and less illegal immigration from Mexico. To make this a reality, we (Americans) must insist that Congress enact new immigration legislation allowing form more legal immigration from Mexico. We also need to reform our guest worker programs so that immigrants are not treated as indentured servants by their American employers.
Additionally, we must look beyond the border issues and help Mexico build solid economic infrastructure. Mexico has almost no middle class. Helping Mexico eradicate the extreme poverty that plagues its citizens will improve living conditions on both sides of the Rio Grande.

I have no problem with immigrants from any country--that's how this country got started. For a long time we toted ourselves as "the land of opportunity" so it's wrong for us to now announce that the "special offer" is over and we don't want to let anyone else in. I have no problem with legal immigration--people following the rules and regulations to get here and stay here. That being said, however, I do feel that immigration as a whole needs to be reformed because right now there is a lot of red tape and weird ridiculous quotas and waiting periods that were created by bureaucracy that don't need to be there.

I love immigrants. Listen to any of their stories and they will remind you of all the great reasons to love America. If Americans had 1/10th of the work ethic of most immigrants, we would be a much richer country. Mexicans are willing to risk their lives to come here, but you can't get an American to risk their own tails for much of anything. On a less personal note, affordable products from new homes to produce would not be possible without them, its actually been determined that if we would deport all illegals our economy would collapse. Thats not a very cohesive answer, but I think Mexicans who want to be loyal Americans should be allowed citizenship.

There are two mexican resteraunts that my daughter and I go to. Of coures they are run by mexican famililes. They are such nice people. You are treated better there then you are at an american resteraunt. At this one place its almost like we are family. The daughter went off to college and does not work during the week. You get to know them. I left my debit card at home and I felt bad and he said oh dont worry about it you pay it next time you come. I have done that before he told me. The bill was over thirty dollars. So when we went back to pay I said dont forget the 32 dollars. He no no no. I only charge you 12. But those who do not speak english I have issues with. I use to work with this mexican lady years ago. Right out of college, I was working in a factory to pay off my student loans one summer. She contstantly left the line to go smoke in break room and go to bathroom or get something to drink. She would take a break every 45 minutes. She say "me speak no english" when the boss tried talking to her. But after work in the parking lot she knew english clear as day. She was abusing her owns countries launguage. Mexican women and men many are very nice looking and very polite. I live in a small town and these mexicans went to a bar one night and got drunk and there was a huge fight. the police, and ambulance was needed. Who did the americans blame the the mexicans. and that was wrong it take two to fight. Now no one in town will go to that bar because they blame the mexican for that fight. The place is going under. It is wrong to blame the mexicans. If you are here legally and pay taxes and work then that is fine. But when you come here and collect well fare while you work for cash and send money back to your family it is wrong. I find mexican men to be very cute....People are hipacrits. Mexicans are human beings also. I dates a guy from the middle east for a long time he was arobic. My friends and their children would joke around I bet he is a terrorist. He was here legally worked and paid taxes. This is one earth why not share it. and all be friends. But they should be treated just like everyone else pay taxes and not get hand outs. I am a single working mom working two jobs so I could afford our home. My furnice went out five years ago. Every place I called said no furnice till cash up front. So I called every place I knew who could help people. This is what I was told. We have many minorities that we have to help first and there is not enough money to go around to help the american and the minorites and if we dont help the minorities they will file a discrimination law suit. So at least I had a nice mom who paid for my furnice.

Legally or Illegally. That makes a difference.
In general, they're just like everyone else. On the other hand, some are disrespectful of the country they worked so hard to come to. Some still insist on claiming themselves as Mexicans although they live in the US.

I am completely against the ILLEGAL immigrants...Mexican or any others. The is OUR country and it is being ruined. I don't think it's racist to love your own country and want to keep it the way it is. Legal immigrants are fine, but illegal ones have ABSOLUTELY no right to come here and protest how we treat them. They're lucky they aren't in jail cause it's where people who break laws belong! It makes me sick to see Mexicans who I happen to know are illegal, riding around in brand new Cadillacs when I can barely afford a car that runs, because I make my money honestly.

After watching them scramble across the U.S. Boarder all day long , I find it hard to recognise the difference between a good old boy Mexican, and a Middle Eastern terrorist, because they are coming, god knows they are on their way! Thank you mr. Bush and your filthy rich friends for asking. Ah, mr. Bush, even though I recognize you and Laura, I can't let you into Mexico without a passport, or some form of I.D. sorry! I'm going to have to ask you two, to step over here and sit down.

im tired of seeing them come into the states, demand to become civilians, when.........1: i hear atleast 3 rapes a month about a mexacian raping a girl either in kentuky tennessee or georgia. 2: i tried to go get government aid for me and my family and i was turned down and a mexacian got in behind me and recieved food stamps, HUD housing and EBT cash. not only did the guy say he had a full time job and his wife had a part time job, they dont have to pay taxes. mexacians here dont have to pay taxes. infact, i overherad him mentioning that he was getting a brand new car that he didnt have to pay the taxes on and was going to drive it to mexaco and sell it for 3 times the amount he got it for. that pisses me off. here i am seriously in need of financial help and i got turned down. why? immagrants get first aid. thats why 17000 people last year got kicked off of Tenncare (disabled and elderly) because so many mexacians signed up and tennessee is forced to approve them. if they just stay in mexaco and fight to make it a better place, then everyone could be happy. but no, they flood the u.s. and cause chaos. how do you think the u.s. was created? immigrants got tired of their government (monarchy at the time) and decided to change their life and move on. there are plenty of mexacians to over rule their government and make their country a better living environmet. but this conversation makes me angry so im going to shut up now.
