Who wins the award as the most limited range, mono-toned, dull-dryest actor? Their face and voice has as much emotion as someone half-asleep and pumped up with Botox.
*Honorable Mention: I saw TROY last night, and my God, Brad Pitt just can act to save his life.

Added Help: That droopy-eyed mealy-mouthed Cage blubbering his way through his lines.
Or Keanu, who in every movie acts like he is still playing Ted, from Bill & Ted's Brain-Dead Adventure. "Like, dude!"

Tough question. I like both, but have to say that everytime I see a movie with Nic in it, I see Nic in it. I don't see the character. No matter how complex. Besides, Keanu is a lot finer to look at!!

I do agree that Keanu Reeves is a horrible actor. In fact, the last time I've seen acting as bad as his was in health class in 4th grade.
However, Nicolas Cage is a good actor. Have you ever seen Leaving Las Vegas? He won an Oscar and Golden Globe for his role in that movie.

Keanu, hands down. Great as monotone Neo and fantastic as SWAT man in Speed. Roles beyond that he should steer clear from.
And really don't agree with that assessment of Nicolas Cage. He is a fantastic and highly versatile actor. Family Man. The Rock, Leaving Las Vegas, Adaptation, Snake Eyes He's very different in all of them, and also very believable. He's consistently good at whatever role he's in, whether it be the bumbling fool, the harrowed victim, or the reluctant hero.
Nah, good old Nic. Hardworking and deserving of an Oscar.

Nicholas Cage is THE most rePUGnant looking man in the entire world...his chapped lips in every film, his fake hair and his down right ugly face, that irritating voice and not to mention his appalling acting...Keanu Reeves however is a different league, whilst I cannot deny that he is equally as bad an actor as CAGE, he is in my eyes very pleasing to look at, all I need from a film is a little eye candy, the plot comes second in my criteria...

Mmmm, well I don't think either of them are mono-toned or limited in their ability but if I had to chose I'd say Nicolas Cage is the mono-toned winner. Keanu Reeves CAN act and is awesome if you really study him in a movie. His 'limited range' is his schict and he pulls it off perfectly in my opinon. Constantine simply rocked and Keanu made that movie. I think maybe some people mistake that cocky laid back attitude as limited range when its really not.

i agree with bapboy. keanu reeves, although cuter, has a limited range in acting. i liked him in some of his movies, but in others, i dont think he plays out his characters well. nicolas cage, in my opinion, is a good actor. he is versatile and in almost every role he plays, he is very believable.
and as for brad pitt on troy. i think that eric bana was the one worth watching in that movie. brad pitt gets all the attention mostly because of his looks and popularity. but acting-wise, he needs improvement.
