The Christian Bible consists of scrolls or 'books' used by the Jews and early Christians in their religious ceremonies.

Broadly speaking, the Books of the Old Testament (the first part of the Christian Bible) were written in Hebrew and Aramaic.

The second part of the Christian Bible, the New Testament, was mostly written in Greek.

In 400 A.D. the Catholic Church commissioned St. Jerome, a linguistics genius and priest, to translate the ancient writings into the common language of the people, which was then Latin.

The Catholic Church then determined that only 73 of the translated Books were truly inspired by God. The Catholic Church declared that these seventy-three books were 'Biblia,' the Written Word of God. Nothing could be added or detracted and still be known as the Holy Bible.

St. Jerome's translation became known as The Latin Vulgate Bible. It is the first complete Christian Bible.

The Latin Vulgate was later translated, by the Catholic Church, into English. That version became known as the Douay-Rheims Bible.

Since the King James Bible (a Protestant Bible) only contains 66 of the original 73 Books, it can be said that the Douay-Rheims was the first Christian Bible in English.

The Bible (Hebrew: תנ״ך tanakh, Greek: η Βίβλος hē biblos, "the book") (sometimes The Holy Bible, The Book, Work of God, The Word of God, The Word, The Good Book, Scripture, or The Scriptures), is the name used by Jews and Christians for their differing (and overlapping) canons of sacred texts. Most people who identify themselves as Christians, Muslims or Jews regard the Bible as the revealed word of God, despite variations in interpretation and in the ways in which its accuracy and legitimacy is perceived

No, in no way. A single worldwide language might decimate worldwide lifestyle, get rid of industries, and value an unfathomable quantity of time and cash. to no longer point out, the question of what language could be chosen (Mandarin is, after all, the main spoken language).

The Bible was written in Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic.

Religion is in "Society & Culture" > "Religion & Spirituality" by the way.
