What is the Lewis Base and What is Lewis Acid. Could ions(positive and/or negative) be Lewis Base or Acid?

Please explain which chemical in the reaction is Lewis base and which is Lewis acid, not What is Lewis base and What is Lewis acid. Because I can find the definition for them. But I just don't know which contribute electron pair and which receive it.

I'm going to take a guess here. The sulfur in SO2 is electron deficient, because it has 2 oxygens drawing electron density from its nucleus. The oxygen in the calcium acts as a lewis base and donates its electrons to the sulfur. The sulfur acts as a lewis acid and receives them.

a substance that donates a pair of electrons(OH-, Cl-,...) is called lewis base, n the substance that absorbs it(H+, Na+,...) is called lewis acid..
