i have heard some people say that this is a must see movie and others have said it was to long and boring. i dont want to spend my money on a bad movie and be waiting for it to end, so has anyone seen this one if so give me a review of it. thumbs up or down...

Absolutely a Thumbs Up! Yes, the movie is 2 and 1/2 hours long, but it is worth it! Very funny and hilarious. The ending leaves you hanging and wanting to see #3 right away, but it's well worth seeing in the theatre. Definately stay thru ALL the credits at the end of the movie for the extra clip. You will leave laughing!

If you haven't seen the first movie see that to get a better understanding of this new Pirate movie. I thought it was very entertaining, and I thought it was funny in parts. As for being long will a lot of Hollywood movie the big blockburster are at least two hours long. When I was a kid if a movie was at least two hours long their would be intermission in between. But I find that that the movies hollywood is making are so fast pace now you don't need that intermission.

Just saw it this evening. It it long and there are some parts where it drags. But on the whole, it is a good romp. If you are wary of spending a lot of cash on the movie, go to a matinee. That way if you don't like it, you wouldn't have spent full price on the movie.

Yes it did seem a lot longer than the first. The CGI special fx were different, but not as new and cool as before. The first half was full of laughs and cool adventures,but the middle was dark and drawn out. Its worth seeing if you have a good caffeinated beverage to keep you awake for those long parts.

Definitely a thumbs-up! Yah... the movie was really long but it is totally awesome and hilarious too! Just seeing the action sequences and the CGI effects will make your money well-spent!

Thumbs down. I just saw it today and I should have just waited for it to come out on DVD. It was long, boring, and I even dozed off for a few seconds.

It depends on what kind of person you are, and your movie taste. If you like the fight sequences (which in this case are long and extensive), then yes. The ending leaves you hanging, which makes you anxious for the third one. Other than that, I would say it's worth your money.

It was long, but I can't see how anyone could think it's boring. Amazing special effects, and of course Johnny Depp is hilarious. And there is a tiny little bonus clip at the end if you manage to sit through all those credits. ;-)

It depends on what type of movie genre you usually love seeing. Like for example, people who love watching Harry Potter and LOTR means they're interested in Sci-Fic and Fantasy, you get the idea. So, it all really is up to you, your choice. I'd have to say you should see it though, it's quite good since most of my favorite stars like Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are in it. But that's just me. :)
