I've asked a similar question to this before, but I rethought it today. I was walking into a Wawa (for those of you unfortunate enough not to live in the philadelphia area, Wawa is the greatest 24 hour convenience store/dairy/sandwich shop on the planet) and a kid standing outside the door asked me to buy him a blunt. Kids under 18 can't buy tobacco in PA because it's illegal. The kid wasn't trying to get a cigar, he was trying to get the paper from the cigar for weed. Obviously, this kid can get the weed, but he can't get the cigar. There's something wrong with this. Shouldn't we legalize marijuana so we can tax it and at least control it?

But of course. marijuana is a natural growing herb. It is preposterous to make it illegal. especially since the drug companies are allowed to push so many drugs that have far more dangerous side effects than marijuana...a drug that is harmless in comparison.

well as I am a Norwegian I am a bit on the side, but as a ex musician with many parties behind me I will say that Marijuana are the only thing to get a high without being hangover or sick the day after. My personal look on the subject is to let it all be available through legal centers. now why the hell would I wanna have that?

As easy as clever really, that would mean an instant stop of many criminal actions, and another benefit would be less deaths because unclean stuff.

To sell alcohol and not pot or weed is an illogical thing to do, i wonder how many goes around netting up people on weed, but on heavy strong spirituous, people gets delirium and blackouts, not remembering anything at all. The politics have to be really stupid not to see that. i mean pot, weed is growing wild, not even beer comes in the wild.

It is possible to think for them selves, but hey, why bother, some smock in a newspaper believes
one thing, the day after the half of world believes the same.

It should be legal. but still kids should be discouraged from it. And the kid could get the cigar, so don' t use that arguement. That's fallicious reasoning.

And Wawa isn't the greatest. The food is close to rubbish. The store is ok, but not the greatest.

In most states now kids cannot get cig. But some how they get the weeds true. I think it would be best to legize it Arizon has .It .helps alot of people for health problems. I n time it will be legal then they would not have to spend so much money keeping it out of the states. When legal people should just pay taxes on it. then it would be more available and the goverment would win . I don't smoke either one so don't pay for it. But they want it because they can't have it. I'm all for legalizing it. Weed is easier to get than alcohol or regular cigarettes for an underage kid now... Which i guess is good since cigarettes and alcohol are much worse than weed anyway

If they do legalize it they need to push education of its effects and responsible use. From what I've seen most people who support marijuana use don't intend to be one bit responsible. There is a real risk of causing deaths.

They do tax it. They waste our taxes to pay the DEA and fund the pointless "war on drugs".

The government already controls it and the price is higher when it's illegal.
