Does anyone like Commodore James Norrington in POTC number 1? Why?

I thought he was charming. As Commodore he was the most powerful person on the island and yet he got nervous and tongue tied when dealing with Elizabeth. *awwww* He tries to do what's right, unfortunitly we're all taken with Jack and Will and suddenly don't care what's right. *cheers*

nah, not really. i mean, i thought it was sweet how he got nervous around elizabeth and everything, but i really thought he was a little powertrippy and frankly kinda dull. i couldnt stand his tone of voice. just so blah.
