"A classic story about five Chinese brothers who have different physical
gifts. One cannot be burned, one can hold his breath, and so on. One day a
small boy asks the brother who can hold the ocean in his mouth to go with
him to pick up fish from the ocean floor. When the little boy does not
listen when it is time to come back, the brother could hold the ocean no
longer and the water explodes from his mouth and the boy drowns. The brother
is found guilty and sentenced to death. Each brother takes his place until
they find that he can not be killed."

I've heard it a different way. There were several Chinese brothers, and one was sentenced to death. Each had a particular skill. They all looked alike, so they were each sent to "die" for the one brother. When he was to be thrown into the sea, the brother who could swallow the sea was sent, and swallowed up the sea. When they were going to chop off his head, the brother with the iron neck was sent, and so on.
