Biological anthropology is the study of humans in an evolutionary perspective, covering areas such as primatology, paleontology, and human biology, ecology, and behavior. Together with socio-cultural anthropology it attempts to capture the complex interplay of the human condition in a way that encompasses all humans, living or dead.
I major in Bioanthro, so if you have any specific questions go ahead and email me.
Social/Cultural Anthro: studies issues relating to religion in the modern world, the effects of religion on politics and society, grassroots civil societies, and democratic transitions.
Archaeology is basically the study of the evolution of civilizations, while linguistics is evolution of language.
