Materialistic Moronic Nightmare

2006-07-15 18:15:59 · answer #1 · answered by Vermin 5 · 1 0

The typical American Dream encompasses a few things. The most important to the ideal is to thrive financially and sit comfortably in at least the middle class. Another aspect is to own one's own home and a piece of land as well. A good job that makes a person happy is a part of this 'dream,' as is marriage and the statistical 2.6 kids. Throw in a white picket fence and that about sums up the American Dream.

Yep. Two chickens in every garage, most of us 'potted',
and a fresh brew whenever we like.

Hey, everybody in my neighborhood already has/is all that, and a six-pack!

The Gov'mint relaxed the pro'bition on home brewing beer in 1979, but, it's costs more to make, than to jes' buy!

That phrase comes from the immigration to America long ago and it mostly applies now to home ownership, however most working class people do not own their own homes, the mortgage companies do. No, I am far from it..

By the time I conveyed it to you, I would have to resubmit the new downsized version ;unless you stop with what you are doing right now and imagine what it could be like again, here in America.............. Give Impeachment A Chance.

That question should have died out in the 40's. Any answer you get will be way too idealistic. Everyone has their own defintiion, but most answers will be motivated by money and materialism.
