Buddy Rich (RIP) He was the best of the best!! not commercialized like the drummers of now a days. Though Im too young to remember Buddy Rich, and I being a drummer I can tell who is the best.

chris kontos from the original drummer from machine head listen to the intro on davidian it sound like he's got three arms,
other than that it has to be neil pert from rush hes been doing it for 35 years plus and the drumming on vapour trails still is insane
