Of course not, someone can date whoever they want. The only laws that exist are against sex, and even if you do have sex, its still legal because girls can't get in trouble for statuatory rape, and guys can only if the girl is under the age of concent, which is no higher than 18 in all states, and in some states is even as low as 12.

I guess it depends on your parents. You should respect them as long as your a minor. And don't put all your eggs in one basket, play the field. I'm sure sex would be an issues somewhere, I don't know too many 16 yr old boys who don't think of having sex. And when the time is right you will and then it will be statutory rape on your girlfriend.

In a lot of states in the U.S. or different countries around the world it is legal for you two to have sex if you want to. But dating is legal everywhere if that's all you plan on doing.

They cannot be involved in a relationship period because the government thinks they will have sexual relations and the 18-year old will be the experienced seducer. Consequently, no, it's still not allowed.

The real reason she brought up age is because she wants you to get lost. She's got her eye on that dude with the little red Mustang...not the 16 year-old on a 10-speed.

yes...friendly date will do...as teenagers you must learn of your responsibilities in dating...meaning be responsible enough of your actions...and dating will never be a wrong one......
