Child support is determined by Your income and your X's income( before taxes). Also who will have full custody or if joint custody is awarded. If your smart and can spend some time with your child go for Joint Custody, it will cost considerably less , and force your X to allow you more control in your childs life!!! Each state has a child support calculator ...yahoo search your states child support calculator, fill out the questionaire and Wa La you will get the figures! Now as for selling the house....Not sure of your states rulings but you can also look up that answer under your states divorce settlement laws, you might have to do a little digging but the answers are there, usually you are given a time frame to sell the house make sure your attorney knows what is going on and dont let your X pull a fast one and tell you that you must sell low!!! !Hope this helps...

Depending on your state, look it up on the comp. go to a website that states child support, look for a caculator on it which tells you depending on your monthly income and children and do the math, it's pretty simple. Also if she is working you will pay less. Far as i know your home has nothing to do with it unless it's in both of your names. Please do keep in mind children need to be supported finacially, you should know appr. how much is cost to raise a baby. they are expensive but worth it just do your best. Do contiunue to be a good parent just because you and your partner has separated be there for your child. take care.

With child support it is based upon your income. The only way your ex can make you sell the home at a lower price is if her/his name was solely on the property other than that if it was a joint effort than you have just as much say as she/he does with the asking price.

Oh! Nothing at all really ! If you don't care and want to be an absentee father, because the Child Support Agency is in meltdown - they'll probably catch up with you when you children are having children !

1st question needs to be answered by an expert Legal Advisor who deals with such cases. Even the possession of the baby has to be decided. The concerned Judge has to decide on merit of the case, as to how much amount is necessary and allowable, after considering the facts with regard to your husband's monthly or annual income from all his known sources of income. I think Marriage Laws differ from country to country.
My answer to 2nd question - If the title deed of the property is in your name, then it is your right to say yes or no for sale.
if it is in his name, you have to claim everything from the Court of Law.

it's according to how much you make, probably as least 50 to 100 dollars a week, and yes she can have the house sold under the asking price

Look for the family law web site in your town. The child support guidelines will be on there. It wouldn't be in her/his best interest to force you to sell the house cheap because it will be less money for her/him.

In Texas, it is 20% of your income after taxes. As for the other, I don't know.
