It is tough to get serious input without getting tons of spam and email from other websites just trying to sell me stuff that i don't want.

I'd like to get more content that would be dependable and useable research material for all visitors and people interested.

I would suggest reviewing your access logs for the site very carefully. My webhost is yahoo business services. I review the daily logs to see what searches people are using to find my site. By knowing what people are searching on to find you, you also know what kind of content the hope to fine.

I take a look at the time from their first entry to the site until the last (I sort the log by IP address) to see if they are staying and looking at information on the page. I've found I can also tell how many bookmark my site by looking for the requests for favicon.ico.

I am also considering using an interesting exit tool - instead of listing links directly off my pages, I would instead send everyone to a standard exit page and pass the link as a query string. The only disadvantage is the user would need to press the back button twice to go back to the calling page. But, because the query string (the stuff after the web address that starts with a ?) is stored in the log, I can see what they found as useful links on my site.

If this sounds interesting to you to get the kind of answers your looking for, drop me a note.
