why isn't WMP 10 detecting my CD burner?

Could it be a bad disk?
Could be your cd drive went bad, can you access the file thru windows explorer? If so then the cd drive should be ok.

Next open WMP at the top click TOOLS, then click on OPTIONS
Next click on the DEVICES tab at the top of the options window
If you don't see your click ADD and follow instructions
