I have a mid calf asymetrical pink dress, and I'm planning to wear it to this wedding. And also some pink high heels...
Is it ok? or should I get a black dress?
The wedding is at 6:00PM

The only reason why you should not wear a pink dress is if that is the color scheme of the wedding or if you are in the wedding party and the color is black. Otherwise do not wear black. My sister says that if it is possible to wear a yellow dress as not to clash with wedding scheme. You do not want to clash with that. Ask the Bride what she feel the appropriate color dress should be. You can never go wrong with that. Good luck

I know I don't look like the type that would know about girls style but a answer is worth having than no answer. But, yeah the dress if no one else has a black dress you sholudn't wear it because you would praly look like an outcast at the wedding, but I think you should go in something more accustomed to the wedding, maybe the pink dress would work better, ok.

Black is perfectly acceptable for an evening wedding. It doesn't look like you're in mourning, it looks dressy. It depends on whether it is formal, but the pink dress sounds a little too "day" to wear to a 6:00 wedding.

I think that a pink dress fine for a wedding, there is nothing that says you must wear black unless it is a request from the Bride, which if that was the case, I would not attend.

I think that the pink dress would be just fine. I wore a pink skirt and blouse to my friend's wedding, and half the guests were wearing jeans, t-shirts, and either flip-flops or sneakers. I asked my other friend, who was a bridesmaid, to ask the bride, and they both said to wear a dress. So, if you still have doubts, ask someone in the wedding party.

Because it is a summer wedding, I believe that the pink dress would be fine. Anything but white is okay at a wedding.

At my wedding I thought it was rude for the women their to wear black. I know it helps the big girl figure and all,but it's a damn wedding not a funeral You should go with pink .

Why should you have to wear black? It's a wedding, not a funeral. Pink is fine, just stick with what you have.

I think the pink dress is a very nice dress to wear but you can never go wrong with wearing a sexy black dress, the heels and a black thong :)
