What would attract the crickets there? Crickets are mostly found outdoors, not indoors, right?? So, any reason why there could be a cricket indoor?

Prob a cricket , they can be so annoying, but are considered good luck in your house, see if you can gently coax it out and send it back outside.

I suffering from hearing loss. There is a noise in my head that sounds something like crickets. When I first noticed this I thought we had be invaded by crickets. You might see if anyone else hears this noise.

Crickets kind of look like black and brown grasshoppers. They can be confused with locusts, which are fatter with wings on their back. Crickets kind of hop around like kangaroos or frogs.
I've actually seen a cricket or two in someone's basement. They make a sort of raspy chirping sound.

oh man...a cricket looking for a mate makes an awful sound. I don't know what you can do about it. I don't think getting a girl cricket would help. you could poke around back there or wait till he goes away.

one got into my place awhile ago. yeah it's rare but it happens occasionally.
