Me and a coworker were 5 minutes late to work this morning and he basically yelled at us to "get in here" "get in here right now", and proceeded to, very loudly question our whereabouts and reasons.....in front of other coworkers as well as subordinates.

I just basically want to express my disagreement as well as the unprofesional conduct to him as well as our top management.

There are no previous issues or incidents, just tired of the lack of respect and continual verbal abuse.

Thanks in advance.

Write the letter to your boss first. Make it professional, and be courteous. Explain your unhappiness with how you were treated.

Wait for his response.

When he responds, if it is not satisfactory, move up the chain of command.

Does the company have an HR department? Have you thought of having a chat with your boss? If he's unresponsive, chat with your boss' boss.
