As americans, is it too much to fathom that the government is capable of fabricating lies to support its future plans for war? You may be obvlivious to the fact, but what do you think after reading the following articles?

Quote: "The U.S. govt. would NEVER orchestrate something so evil that it would take the lives of 3,000 innocent people."
No? What about Bosnia's thousands of dead civilians? Did you forget abut vietnam? What about the 30000 civilians dead in iraq? Are americans the only innocent ones in the world?

Quote: "Just because some guy wrote an article and posted it on the internet, does not make it true. "
You're right, it doesn't, but historical events do make it true, espicially all the wars conducted in the past 30-40 years.

Quote: "Anyone who claims a coverup is either not from this country or an enemy sympathizer and should be shot."
Anyone with a few thousand dollars can create a cover-up to just about anything. Now can you imagine if you had an unlimited supply of money, resources, and laws? I came from a country whos government had cover-ups as well, but its people knew about them. That government isn't as secretive as the US government, and knows that its people know. However, people were afraid to speak out against the government.

Quote: "You (and the authors of articles like this) make me sick."
I'm sick of hearing ignorant people who only care about what happens in their back yard. 3000 innocent lives were lost in the attacks, and may god punish the perpetraitors of the attacks. It's a true shame that people had to die for a much larger plan. Yet, very few americans seem to care that their government has killed MILLIONS of people world-wide in such a short amount of time. If a government is capable of so much destruction, it's obviously capable of much more. 80 billion of your tax dollars for a war? Open your eyes hun, and come to realize that there's something much bigger at stake than some weapons of mass destruction.

Shrub and his cronies knew it was coming, and chose to do nothing and let it happen. Read about the "Project for a New American Century" and recognize that its members are part of the Shrub regime and that all have profited by waging illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Letting the attacks happen provided a pretext for starting wars.
"[T]he process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor."
- from the PNAC website
Either that, or the Shrub Whitehouse are incompetent bunglers who couldn't put two and two together with all the evidence of an impeding attack in front of them. One doesn't have believe in crackpot theories to come up with a plausible explanation for why it happened.
The concept of a "New American Century" is very reminiscent of a "Reich of a Thousand Years"....

Based on your responses, it seems that you are not really looking for an answer here. But I'll bite anyways.
Fabrication of evidence. The plane flew into the second tower while news cameras were rolling. How would this be a fabrication?
Supposedly, the plane that crashed into the Pentagon was not an airliner. While there were no reliable video records of this, how many eyewitnesses saw this jet come down? I don't know about you, but when a jet flies overhead, the lower it is, thereby the louder the noise, the more likely that I'm going to look up.
Supposedly, the hijackers are still alive and well, living in the Middle East. Here's a question for you: If you were trying to sneak into a foreign country, but your real name might be on a watch list, would you consider identity theft to avoid such detection?
Were the Towers collapsed by explosives? Technically, yes: two airliners filled with fuel. Buildings are fragile by nature. Skyscrapers have been undergoing evolution in technology since their inception. Super-skyscrapers, like the towers, are only capable of great heights because of technologies and methods like the ones listed below. These methods lead to a very tenuous dance to the tune of the laws of physics.

where were you on 9/11? I was about 1/8 of a mile away from the Pentagon (on Interstate 395) when the plane flew into it. No one is gonna tell me that I didn't see what I saw, and no one is gonna tell me that the ground didn't feel like an earthquake. Anyone who claims a coverup is either not from this country or an enemy sympathizer and should be shot.
It is a fact that on September 10, 2001 that Donald Rumsfeld went public about 23 billion dollars missing from the Pentagon, but that does not exclude the fact that 4 planes were hijacked and nearly 3000 people were murdered.

Yes, there are a lot of things about 9/11 that are either unexplainable or not explained!! Like, how is Cordite, from an explosive device, end up on one tested beam by a BYU physicist?
The government is lying to us again!!
More than 80% of people polled do not believe that all the information has been released!!
In Hans Blix's report on WMD's in Iraq, after we pulled the inspectors, the United States (George Bush) allowed the report in....minus 8,000 pages!!!
Personally, I think those who are even unwilling to look at the evidence, and make up their mind on the word of a liar, have too much a vested interest!

No, but a lot of people are making money by claiming it was.
The motive doesn't make sense and the conspiracy would require way too many people to be able to run smoothly.
Crashing planes into buildings is not a good foundation for a war against Iraq. That doesn't make sense as a motive to do it.
People will believe or disbelieve anything they are told, as long as they have a distaste for the other side.

You can read the information that was gathered on this subject, at Disinformation.com, or Idaho Observer, and Follow the links from there.. They have films, pictures, excerpts from the 9-11 commission, and testimonies from people who witnessed the planes, the detonations that took place in the basements of the towers, and the lack of debris from any plane at the pentagon. Witnesses ranging from police, laborers, and political figures.
Read it all then you have to decide if America was deceived, or are the people just plain STUPID!!!!!!!!!

Good grief....everything is a conspiracy nowadays, from JFK to 9/11 to Jesus' divinity. C'mon, there's no insider story to 9/11. The U.S. govt. would NEVER orchestrate something so evil that it would take the lives of 3,000 innocent people.
