thyt like one murder every second, but htat 's like a lot right, more than norway for esample?

omg thats sooo scary!! ='o( thats wayyyy too much like wuts wrong with people how could they do that means that around 3 people's lives were taken from them as I WRITE THIS!...because of a sicko..
that makes me deny my fate..wow =o/

There is absolutely no way that statistic is correct. That would be over 500k murders.
In 2004, the most recent FBI reports on murder, has the number at just over 16k that year. The most ever in the US occured in 1991 and that did not even top 25k.
So at the absolute height of violence in the US there was a murder every 21 seconds. Which is still bad. But a far cry from 500k!!!
And it is also important to note that since 1991 every year the murder rate and rape rates have declined. Petit crimes are up though.

Murder and all violent crime in the USA has increased about 2000% since 1960. That's polulation adjusted. There are studies that point the finger at the reason why but it's not going to change so I won't bother mentioning it..

and it's only going to get worse, as the price of living continues to go up. and if they make it illigal for companies to hire illigals (see how that works?), we are going to see more crime and murder than we can imagine.
