Family Homeless Shelters. It is so sad to see homeless children, for all the people who feel like the homeless choose or get what they deserve. The children do not have choices & definitely deserve a safe place to sleep. OK I am off my soap box.

If I had that high of political office and had a million dollars at my disposal, I'd follow political tradition and squirrel it away in an off- shore bank account and save it for my retirement. It's not good to go against tradition, because it only draws the ire of others of equal rank, and especially at the federal level where it's kind of expected that you need to award yourself for exemplary service in office.

One million really isn't that much, most governors are working with much more. I think my number one priority would be education, especially elementary education. I would also use some money for the elderly and agriculture.
