The Simpsons!!! Oh I love that show! The writers come up with some great stuff, sometimes its a little out there, but they almost always include stuff that I think a lot of people can relate to. They make a lot of references to famous people that are really funny and the characters are all so different-together they create a really interesting little world. And-they're animated, so they aren't going to get older and outgrow their parts like in sitcoms! Horay!

Both. But The Simpsons made Family Guy....If there were no Simpsons we'd have the Love Boat still on....it was kinda cartoonish

When it comes down to it, both dad's are fat drunks, the wives are nags, the son's are really dumb, and the girls are are boring, they both have babies, both have dogs.
Family Guy, they have a talking dog, that is also a sarcastic alcoholic plus the baby actually does something.
Family Guy has the edge even though they ripped off the Simpsons.

Even though the Simpsons are still funny, They've become old. So I would have to pick Family Guy. I mean with a want to be killer Stewie. A dog with drinking problem . Meg with no dates, Chris? And a father who in his own way means well, but can't get a clue even it one bit him , what else could you ask for.
