There are alot of sad movies that I have seen. Gladiator has a depressing feel to it and still is a well balanced movie. Lorenzo's Oil is a really really sad movie. Some people couldn't even finish watching it when they first saw it because it was too depressing. Ghost is another sad movie. The movie Always is also a good one. Bambi was the first movie that made me cry when I saw it as a child.

Those are the ones that pop into my head. For me Titanic was too drawn out and bored me through most of the movie which is why I haven't listed it and not too many movies bore me.

I have not seen this movie yet and as a matter of fact it hasn't came out yet, but the movie World Trade Center is or will be the saddest movie of all. How do i know that? If the preview can make you cry over and over again then the whole movie will.

I only cried two times: One was during a minor Michael Keaton - Nicole Kidman movie called " My Life"

And the second time was when I saw "Dancer in the Dark". I couldn't leave the theater for several minutes, I was bawling and so was many other people.

When I know the movie is sad, I kinda of go prepared and don't cry. Those 2 caught me by surprise cuz I didn't really know what it was about.

PS: I also cried during "Cool Runnings", but I am embarassed that I did it.

I would have to say the Notebook as well. I thought it was by far one of the most romantic movies that I have ever seen. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it either I cry everytime. I love how much he was in love with her and how even when she couldn't remember him he would never leave her. And I loved how they showed them when they were younger and how when they weren't together they still loved each other. They had such a special connection and I cried when they both died together too.

Dark Water. It's a mild horror movie that stars Jennifer Conelly. The movie starts out with Jennifer Conelly as a mother in a bitter divorce with her husband who is also trying to get custody of her six year old daughter. One of the stipulations to prove that she is a fit mother, she has to find a suitable apartment that has the proper facilities to raise a child. So she finds this apartment, and everything is okay until she sees this leak in her daughter's bedroom. So in trying to find out the origin of this disturbing leak, she comes across a body of a little girl who was abandoned by her parents and had drowned in the building's water tank. Now, the spirit of the drowned little girl haunts the halls of the floor where she once lived. The sad part about the movie is that the spirit of the little girl notices how much Jennifer Conelly's character loves her daughter and wants that love for herself. In the end, the spirit tries to kill Jennifer's daughter to get Jennifer as her mother, but in exchange for her daughter's life, Jennifer promises the spirit to be her mother. So the daughter lives in the end because Jennifer had drowned to save her daughter and the only way for Jennifer to see her real daughter is if her daughter visits the building.

The Green Mile was one of the first movies I ever cry at. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was also a very good tearjerker, which surprised me. (I thought it was just going to be another stupid teen movie trying to be deep) Very Good.
