Yes, do you?

I love America. I love the dream of America. I love that I was born here. I love that my children were born here. I love the image Ronald Reagan described as the "shining city on a hill". I think of how lucky we all are and we take it so for granted. I think about how people get on rickety rafts in shark infested waters and worse to get here. I don't see any rickety rafts leaving America for anywhere else. I don't see people piling into trucks to cross the desert to get to Mexico only to be abandoned to die from heat and no water or enough air. We should fall to our knees everyday and thank God for the blessing that is America.

I love the principles America was founded on. I love the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. I idolize guys like Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison, That's why it pains me so much to see everything our country was founded on so painfully twisted. I'm talking about Republicans AND Democrats on sale to the big corperate special interests with a media owned by the same Corporatocracy conviently rationalizing it all for us. I'm talking about no taxation without representation people.

We have 380 million people and 2 parties (that keep looking ever more alike), to REPRESENT 380 MILLION PEOPLE. Are you serious people? The old Soviet politbuero (their congress during the height of the most corrupt communism) had a 92% turnover during elections and we return 98% of our congressmen. I'd call that fascism. I love what my country represents, I loath to associate myself with the reality of what it is.

No, I was let down by America and crapped on by all the politicians. I hate the United States, people here are so dumb and forgetful. I don't like the people here, I don't like the government, I don't like the education, I don't like the illegal immigrants taking legal citizens' jobs.
I am not happy here, I fear the future because this country only thinks about money and the here and now. I wish it were like the European Union. I was optimistic and looking forward to the future under Clinton's administration and now I am so sad and pessimistic because of ALL YOU STUPID NEO-CONS and WEAK democrats. I hate them!
I hate the fact that this country is over-religious. They say they are Christians but they act like devils. In Europe they do not really practice religion and they are VERY caring to each other. Explain that!
I hate the fact that the corporations take advantage of the people here and the government lets them! (oil, car, pharmaceutical, employment and salaries/wages)
People are too lazy to watch/read unbiased news and too lazy to get out and protest. People say they don't do this stuff because they are overworked. Well, there are people more overworked in other countries and they still make time to defend their rights.
THE US SUCKS, I hate the stupid hillbilly rednecks here who say if you don't like it leave. They are so uneducated that they need to be the ones leaving, go to Mexico!

No. I love God, my husband, my children and grandchildren. Most of the time I am ashamed of our country. Often embarrassed by the things our government does. And I know many of you would like to tell me to go back to where my family came from. Which wouldn't be such a bad idea except for the fact that the US Army drove us out of our homeland during the Trail of Tears. I am a Cherokee and have nowhere else to go!

Yes, but it's more difficult these days. We used to be a nation that stood for some ideals, but lately our so-called leaders trample over our own laws ... and we as citizens make a half-hearted protest, then go back to watching football and soap operas.

I love America, as well as Americans. However, it's your foreign policy and gun laws, or lack of them, that I do not like.
