was just wondering... i heard about it somewhere... but all i got from the internet is about his aids foundation.

Elton John does not have aids. Elton John struggled with his sexual orientation for years before he felt he could come out and say he was gay, he tried to hide it for years and years.
When choosing an organization to support he chose the Aids foundation because at the time most of the people affected by Aids were from the gay community. E.J. felt that by supporting the Aids foundation he was doing something positive for the community that he belonged to without having to out himself by supporting an strictly gay charity.

If he does not have aids yet, I'm sure he will soon. Elton John just recently got married to a guy.........................Is that not how aids gets started? Two guys. Grosssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

I don't think so.. One of his charities which is the eltonjohn aids foundation is helping to find a cure for aids... I'm guessing since he is a homosexual he understands that there is alot of risk factors out there and he is trying to help find a cure...

I agree with the others, just because he is supporting the foundation doesn't mean he has it.. he may have loved ones who have it.

No he doesn't. Just because he supports a certain charity doesn't mean he is affected by it....but he probably has had friends who have died from AIDS.

Nope, he is gay, but doesn't have AIDS. He has a lot to do with AIDS organizations though.

no but he's gay and AIDS really affected the gay community before anyone knew what it was.
he probably cares alot about this cause because he's known someone who's died.

i dont think he has aids i just think cuz hes gay and gay ppl usually have aids hes raising awareness
