Driving down the street today I saw 2 car washes. 1 of which was a Jr. High School group. We're talking 12 and 13 yr old girls here, flagging down unknown GROWN MEN!!! and how? With thier bodies in bikinis... :( How sad. I think they shouldhave to wear a one piece suit and a tee shirt and shorts, the schools are just asking for trouble. To many men and older young males..(17,18 20 etc.) only stop for one reason and I think it puts these girls at risk. Does anyone else agree with me?

I SAW THIS TODAY TOO!! These girls could not have been older than 14, and they were standing on a busy, commerical strip, wearing bikini tops and shorts. Yes, I think it's totally inappropriate, and definitely could the wrong people. It certainly does put these girls at risk. Who's to say that some pervert wouldn't stalk one of the young girls afterward? And it's not just schools, a lot of organizations do it. There's no doubt that the girls are in bikinis to attract males, but how many YOUNG teen boys drive cars. It's only going to attract older males.

You bet. Whenever my daughter's cheer group held a car wash, the girls were required to wear a t-shirt and shorts over their bathing suits. In fact, they were told to wear their squad t-shirts to look as professional as possible; like they were part of an organized group. As far as risk goes, there should always be PLENTY of adult supervision to make sure the girls are behaving in a mature manner and that no one is making inappropriate comments, etc. with the public. This takes a LOT of parental participation and leadership.

BECAUSE SEX SALES.

Men are designed to lay their "seed" and move on. Women are designed to carry the baby to term and provide a good family, usually that requires tying the man down to the relationship. The man could love his wife and child, but wave a teenybopper in a bikini at him and watch his head swivel. It doesn't mean that he loves his family any less; it just means he is a man. It's in the genes; it’s the way men are wired. In short it is human nature.

To capture a woman's attention you must woo her, you must make her comfortable, and make her interested. This is as true in a date as it is if you want to sell soap to the woman, hence soap operas. With men you just need to wave a pretty body at them and you have their attention. You don't have it for long, but for that instant, and long enough to get them in line, you have their attention.

Is it shameless, is it almost pornographic, yes. Is it tempting men into wanting a sexual relationship with one of those girls, no. Sure there are guys that will want it, but they would want it even if the girls weren't there (and that's the problem with them). If these kind of guys are there with the teen aged girls then that does have an element of risk, but it is much more risky to have a guy leering at a bunch of kids trying to buy something from the Ice Cream Truck. The sexually deviants will always try and find their targets. At least at the car wash there is adult supervision, and most of the men attracted will only have a few moments of fantasy.

Sure a lot of these guys stop just because of the girls, but most of them are just healthy guys who had their attention caught by a marketing scheme that targets them in ways that the guys don’t even realize. If you feel so bad about it then call the school responsible for it and tell them. It might make you feel better, but I doubt it is going to change things very much. Sorry, I am just telling you the way it is, so my advice is just to shake your head and say “How typical, they are grabbing men’s attention by their balls; men are so easy to attract, and so shallow.”

doesn't surprise me. sex sells.
a couple of years ago there was a similar car wash near where I live. I went past in the morning and the girls (who were about my age - 14 at the time) were wearing Tshirts and shorts, and doing a small trade. I went past a couple of hours later, the girls had stripped down to bikinis and the cars were queued up down the street.
society trains guys to be pervs.

I totally agree, all women under the age of 85 must wear burkas and dance around all day yelling "alla akbar". Wouldn't they be in the same "risk" at a smimming pool or the beach????? Maybe we should castrate all males that look at teenage girls in bikinis???? I believe you should leave these complex decisions to the parents. You should also probably lose 50 pounds, so men might look at you some day.

I agree but the car washes are not usually school sponsored. The are some club or group.

The biggest problem is that girls are little sluts these days. The schools don't care, the teachers are too busy trying to screw the students rather than teaching them.

Yeah, totally. I have participated in car washes and my school is pretty serious about wearing clothes while doing such, so that is good. I can't imagine how dumb those girl's parents must be...
