"An apple a day will keep the doctor begging for his bread" and just might cure your acid reflux. If you want more than one apple's worth, you might consider juicing.
If you juice apple, you could see some additional benefits from the enzymes and pectins in apples for your acid reflux.

I would also consider raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
I take a tablespoon in strong juice like apple juice or carrot juice every day for balancing my pH and as preventative health measure. I have not had one sick day since I began taking it daily.

My father-in-law had acid reflux for YEARS, started doing this, and swears by it. In fact, he keeps a half-gallon bottle of water with ACV in it {he started with just a little and kept adding as he adjusted to the taste} and that is what he drinks all day long! I tried it and it does work!

Apple cider vinegar helps, but ignore what Pussycat said about Baking Soda...it really messes up the digestive enzymes by throwing off the acidity of the stomach. The stomach needs acid to digest and sodium bicarb neutralizes that acid.

This is a natural program that you can try to cure your acid reflux http://acidreflux.toptips.org

Acid reflux disease, also known as gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs due to the coexistence of several medical and lifestyle conditions. Physiological factors that trigger GERD include lower esophageal sphincter (LES) hypotonia (the gradual weakening of the LES), along with retrograde flow of stomach contents into the esophagus, and the level of sensitivity of the esophageal mucus to the reflux content.

yep , apple cider vinegar, about a quater teaspoon to 8 oz. of grape juice. taste a little like cheap wine ,but works good.
cranberry pills work good too, but cranberry juice could make it worse because of other additives.

also, tastes funky , but, a teaspoon or two of baking soda chased by water really works good too.

Bananas help for me... Immediate relief! However, too many too often will lead to constipation...
