What does it mean when I have a lump on my esophagus?

Not really enough information here...
How big is the lump? When did you first notice it? It is sore to the touch? Is it causing you problems with swallowing? I could go on, but these are just some of the questions a doctor will want to know....and you should go see one as soon as possible to rule out any serious problems, such as cancer for example....
Good Luck.

I had a lump on my throat near my lymph nodes that turned out to be a cyst. Not sure about yours. See a doctor soon.
