You can remove them with acetone but your real nail will need to be buffed after.
It takes a while to soak them off.

you cant take them off. the only way is to get ACETONE straight and soake your nails in it and then file. repeat this over and over again. the nail will come off like sheds of glue.its a drawn out process and if you just got your nails done today and you want them off today its gonna be time consuming. there is a little tool in the nail section at walmart or wherever that lifts the nail from underneath but if you just got your nails done then there probaly is no where to get in to lift it. good luck!!

Are they acrylic nails? If so, you must get a substance called "acetone" from the hardware store. Soak your nails in the acetone, but be warned , it is toxic! Sit in a well ventilated area, or outside is even better. Be careful what kind of bowl you put the acetone in, too, as it will dissolve it (as in ACID). It takes about an hour and it is the worst pain the world. Good luck.

Your local nail salon probably has better tools, but in a pinch you could use a Dremel with the right (gentle) abrading attachment. That's assuming you have a steady hand and a place to get the silly thing.

get a form nail, which is the lil plastic tip they use to put them on and use the end to pry the fake nail off, or soak in acetone

Grow it out. If you try taking it off by hand you will rip off your whole nail. Real nail too.

That's the best way to do it yourself...otherwise you need to go back to specialist that did them. There is nothing worse than a jacked-up nail.

go to the salon where you got them done. by the way, why did you pay to get your nails done, and now want them off so badly?

I found this...

The acetone sounds scary though!
If you were my little sister or something, I'd say just trim them down, and cover with a coat of not-real-noticeable nail polish.
Good luck!
