i think some woman love their man more than their own children,and they take abuse and cheating from them and get back 2gether nowing what they do to them why??? its not like hes the only man in the world!and even if he was i wouldnt take that crap from nobody!!

Just like the old saying "you cant help you fall in love with" . My opinion on guys that mistreat their women , they should all be castrated and hung by their toes over a pit of venomous snakes to suffer a slow and painful death like the heartbreak they cause the women in their lives.

Low self-esteem--they think they can't do any better. And, sometimes it's because she thinks that if he "loves" her enough he'll change, and that will prove that she is a good and worthwhile person. I've been there, and I once said that I would never take that crap from anybody. It's easy to talk, but you never know what you might do. Have some understanding of your "sisters", and support them in ev ery right move they make. I got out of the situations (Yes, more than once......pretty bad for an intelligent, talented, well-educated woman, eh?), and I don't think I'd ever put up with any crap again!

There is not just one reason. However, often, with time, the women are basically brainwashed by abusive language from their spouse and, just like advertising, eventually they begin to believe it. Then the beatings begin and by this time usually the woman's self-esteem is so low they feel trapped. It has nothing to do with whether a woman is smart or stupid. Sometimes women are predisposed to entering abusive relationships because they are familar, such as the woman's parents were abusive to her or eachother. Know a man well before you get too involved and don't take any sh*t! Also, it's hard to tell a woman to get out and have her listen, she will make excuses. It is something she has to figure out for herself. If you are her child, keep yourself safe and try not to take it personal, understand she is sick, just like the abuser. Get yourself in counseling, even if she won't go.

It usually has to do with lack of confidence and self esteem; and fear of being alone and having to start over. There is also the fear of their man finding them and harming them even worse for leaving. Been there; done that; NEVER AGAIN!
Any woman who is in this situation and is reading this, please get out. You can do it, and there are so many government programs out there to help you get to a safe place and get back on your feet. Thanks for asking this question, because I think there is a huge need for education where it comes to domestic violence. Women don't want to be treated badly, they often just feel trapped and have been brain washed and bullied into believing that they are wrong and their abuser is right. That is why they stay.

Working with a lot of people I find women and men with low self as teem will put up and take a lot more than people who are well assure of themselves. That's why it so hard for people who are independent to understand( you'll say BYE). You have to look inside a person to understand them.

Because they are those unconfident boring, low-self esteem women. They have no say over anything Oftenly called nice girls. One that I'll never go out with as long as I'm on this earth. I would rather have the women hit me than me hit her.

I'm glad you don't think like those abused women. I think they feel that they don't deserve much better. Low self-esteem is the cause of this kind of relationships.
