A year or two ago that's so Raven was my absolute favorite show but the heavier she got it seemed the less funnier it got...plus her new movie the cheetah girls 2, she doesn't "flow" as easily as the other girls and she's in the back more, is it all just a coincidence?

I think Raven is doing pretty well for herself. The reason the show isn't as funny is (1) you have probably grown up a bit in the past year or so, and (2) the writers seem to be running out of story ideas. It happens to a lot of shows - especially kids sit-coms. After awhile the jokes are old, the pranks have been done, and it may be time to end it. I think Raven has a long career ahead of her. So what if she's "overweight". She looks better than the girls who are skin-and-bones! Raven is beautiful, talented, and smart. She'll be fine - and around for a long time!

Raven got a huge weight gain after undergoing a bout of depression and overindulging in 2002. Now she has gained a lot of weight again, and it definitely showed in her new movie The cheetah girls 2. Raven has been going through a lot of on-again off-again weight gain since late 2002. it seems that whenever raven symone works on a big movie or project, she put on some pounds from stress. We can't hate raven for that though. she is very inspirational and a wonderful actress. her show is lively and great to tween audiences. she has accomplished a lot in the past decade. we have to give her some credit for that. she gives a message that girls don't have to be a size two to have a good, healthy life. don't bully raven like that- get your priorities straight and stop wasting all your points downing good people like her!!!

It doesn't appear to be, however the quality of That's So Raven has fallen sharply. I can hardly stand to watch it anymore (except that Chelsea is so darn funny). She definitely looks out of place with the other Cheeta Girls. Even Sabrina Bryan, who was a bit heavy in the first one, looks skinny next to Raven.
Orlando Brown seems to be really packing the pounds on too. They need to examine what they are eating (or how much) and try to change it. Celebrity is not usually kind to overweight actors.

I agree that her weight is affecting her career, but I do not agree with the fact that it is. I agree with you that she doesn't flow well with the other girls in CG2, but I think America needs to accept Raven. Do you know how many little girls think they have to be pencil thin to have anyone like you because of TV shows. I mean, look at the Olsen twins. I would rather my daughter watch something like Raven, then something with a skinny main lead. Watching such shows leads to tolerance, and I personally think America needs more shows with big girls (and guys) in them.

She never had any talent in the first place. She was funny when she was 3 on The Cosby Show. Who cares if she's fat. It's her own falut what us happening to her. Her TV is over and her singing carrer never took off. Maybe she will eat her way to a spot on Celebrity Fit Club 5.

Her confidence is definitely not suffering, which you can tell in anything she does. I respect her for not being afraid to be who she is and for not going anorexic just to get more jobs. She's talented, but I think doing kid shows is what's hurting her career. I want to see what she'll do with a more grown-up movie or show.

I've always loved her, and I never really cared about what she weighed to be honest. No offense, but that a problem you have with yourself. As long as she's healthy, she's alright with me. I've watched her show for years, and yes she's gained some weight, but her true fans don't care and that's all that matters. And the people who judge her aren't worth her attention anyway, sorry....
