we try to watch more educational toons than war toons and looser toons I try to benifit my children with more Knowledge than fighting and war.

I think it's common for adults to watch cartoons. Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, etc. are all geared for adults why? Because TV producers know that adults watch cartoons.
It's good to watch tv with your kids. It's even better that you're creating discussion about what you see. TV, in moderation, is educational and healthy. Relax. Enjoy. :)

Sounds like you're making good choices. Also balance your TV time with active play -- take them outdoors to the park and run around a bit, play catch, do something physical.
The great thing about having grandkids is that I get to watch cartoons again! Oh, SpongeBob, puh-lease! (I do a great Squidward...)

I'm 44 and I watch cartoons all the time..did you know that cartoons were originally made for adults?..My faves are some of the newer ones that sneak adult humor into them..and the very old ones.. Anamie? I just don't get..I suppose its an art form, but I don't care for it..doesn't make it bad, just not for me
