Ok they take your money, but I read that modern day and old school Pirates brutally harm people they are plundering. Is there any nice ones that just take what they can that’s valuable and then leave, possibly just tying up the crew temporarily and untying them when they leave? Or are there no Pirates that are this nice?

(I am not talking about Cyber Pirates)

(It would be cool if there were Pirates like Captain Jack Sparrow LOL, not saying he’s a complete good guy, BUT- I’d rather someone like that steal from me and leave me be then someone who will shoot me for attempting to argue with them)

All pirates exhibed some degree of cruelty, if not to the ships they plundered, to their crew to keep them in order.

Sir Francis Drake was a pirate, except that he was called a privateer and carried an authorisation from the government. Many of the Elizabethan pirates were similarly authorised by their different governments.

Good luck finding some "good pirates." A good pirate = an oxymoron.
