yeah, all their shows have been like that forever (disney is involved in a lot of the show's that were on abc back in the day too, ever wonder why every show on had a disney vacation involved? and it was always 2 parts, more disney exposure. full house, urkel, step by step, probably a bunch more, all disney.)
anyhow, yeah, they do that, and the funny thing is that their shows are entirely based on whats popular, if a show doesnt do well, or an actor isnt popular with the viewer demographic they want, they get someone else. so the lesson here? being popular is bad, but if you're not popular, you suck. and if you dont go to disneyland, and have an amazing experience, you're not as good as everyone else.

TOTALLY agreed! i think the disney channel is a little too over dramatic with what happens at the school. i mean in highschool there is dramma believe me but not like some of the situations that they have on those shows. but yeah i totally agree with you.

Popular kids are like that...it's the only realistic thing on the whole channel.

I believe most popular people are that way. I have no problem with the way the characters are perceived because it is true-to-life.

kids stereotype people all by themselves. i dont really think Disney is brainwashing them.
