Okay...
First off label the plug wires. If you don't, you'll have a doozy of a time later on. Each wire needs to go to the right plug/cylinder... so be careful!
Next, make sure you use a spark plug socket (rubber on the inside). remove them and inspect them for unusual wear (if there's a lean condition it will be white, if rich, it will be black).
Next get the new plugs out and make sure they are properly gapped. Places like AutoZone will sell them to you already gapped... but still double check.
Next make sure that you start the plugs out by HAND! Never use a wrench to start... you run the risk of cross threading. Then you may tighten by the wrench.
Next put the wires back on the way you took them off.
