LED tail lamps are fine, my S80 T6 Volvo has them factory installed. However, lights installed that may cause other drivers to think you are a law enforcement officer or fireman, be careful they will get you in trouble and cost goes out the roof. Check with your state Department of Transportation and see what the rule is with them as they enforce these laws.

NO...They are not legal for use as operating lights.
The DOT Dept. Of Transportation, approves all motor vehicle lights in the USA. These are not approved.

You can use these lights for decoration, and off road. The lights in most States can not be visible while the vehicle is being driven on public roadways.

great way to get ticketed and vehicle towed.

Light emitting diodes are legal in most states but must be the proper color for their intended purpose; IE: red for the rear portion of the vehicle and yellow or white for the front.

Here in the south, you can have them , but you can't display them while on the road.. Something about distraction to other drivers I think is what most cops say.

Trucks use them for run and stop lamps but are of different brightness than what you show.. those are for show only ..

You will have to check with your local law agency or DMV.
I do know that most won't allow the colors red and blue on the outside of the vehicle.

They can be on cars, but can not be lit when the vehicle is operated on public roads in most areas!
