The Jews and Arabs are related, and this is how.

Abraham had 2 sons, Ishmael from Hagar, and Isaac from Sarah. The Arabs are descendents of Abraham through his son Ishmael, and the Jews are descendants through Isaac.

Sarah was Abraham's wife, and because she got old without giving Abraham any kids, God commanded Abraham to marry his concubine Hagar (more like a second wife). Ishmael became Abraham's first son through Hagar. Then Sarah got pregnant with Isaac, and didn't want Hagar nor Ishmael to live with her, so they were taken to the Arabian desert, more specifically present day Mecca (where the well of Mecca keeps providing enldess source of water). In the old testament, it clearly says that a great nation would come out of the descendants of Ishmael (nowadays Muslims). The Jews somehow try to prove that Abraham was at fault for partnering with Hagar, and as a result God punished him by creating the Arabs. Nevermind that God instucted Abraham to marry Hagar.
Whereas the Jews view the arabs as outcasts, the Muslim Arabs view the Jews as their cousins.

Another similarity exists in language. The only two languages whose words are based on roots are the Arabic and Hebrew languages.

Others have answered so I will just add......
No, God did not order Abraham to marry Hagar, Sarah gave Hagar to produce an heir.

They both came from Abraham (he had THREE families), but...Abraham was the first Jew, him and Sarah, but Ishmael's mother,Hagar was Gentile and I believe an Egyptian
...Of this child, God said "And also (as with Isaac) of this son will I make a great nation, because "HE IS THY SEED" (Genesis 21:13)!

"In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance." (Isaiah 19:23-25)

Egypt is included in this prophecy because of Ishmael the son born to Abraham by Hagar the Egyptian. Israel is included because of the son born to him of Sarah the Hebrew and Assyria is included because of the children born to him by Katurah. Katurah's children seems to have included such people groups as the Midianites, Babelonians and perhaps the Persians etc. Katurah's children were scattered throughout all the land of Assyria. They still have identity today but it is rather obscure because Abraham sent them all eastward into Trans Jordan and beyond. Only a loose biblical record of them was preserved.

In order to be Jew you must have Jewish Mother.
So Arabs(Ishmael) are Gentiles,(Issac) are Jews.

Don, Abraham had 2 sons Ishmael and Issac. Issac had 2 sons Esau and Jacob. Jacob recieved the blessing from his father but Esau did not and what was pronounced to him he has lived by ever since. This is what you have today. Jacob and Esau fighting but Esau is against everyone!
I hope this helps you.
