How is Epidomy spelled? www.dictionary.com doesn't have it. The definition is that of "the definition of" or "the meaning of". As in, if you are really cute, then I could say that you'd be the epidomy of cuteness. What is the proper spelling of "epidomy"?

Epitome - from the Greek 'cut short.' That may not sound like a compliment, but the original meaning was closer to 'example' or 'summary.' But, an example usually implies a superior specimen; after all, who shows off their *worst* work? So it eventually came to mean a highly prized or respected example.

EPITOMY.
... but some also spell it with an 'e' at the end instead of a 'y'.
The Y variation is the accepted norm though.
