I have not been to Poland yet, but I plan on going there. I work with a number of Poles...at a Polish community organization and even though one of them is a complete and utter spaz, the others are a lot like my ex (back when he was human) and like many of my closest friends who went back to Poland and are doing their best to get me to move there--mostly because they're great friends and we miss each other. Yeah and Tootsie Rolls and the best beer in the world come from Ziwiec (just pretend I dotted the "z") and you gotta love a place that produced Tootsie Rolls.

Polish people and Russians happen to be my closest friends, and well...I gotta give Polish people credit. Russians are among the nicest people around (if a bit analytical) and Poles constantly try to outdo them in the "nice" category...

Poland is easily the 2nd best country in the World. USA #1! Great food, shopping, people, hot girls, and history.

Great country!! Go there almost every year. I would move there if I could find a job there that pays American salaries.
Although I must admit that during my last visit, I noticed that the places and attitudes are turning a bit into that of the US. I liked the older way (10 years ago) a bit better.
I wish that more Polaks lived around my area.

I do. I've lived here for 28 years and intend to stay some more. There's no place like home!

Not me. I hated it when I visited last year. I think that might have to do with almost getting my ribs broken because I'm Jewish... Or the lovely gentlemen who greeted me with a nice "Heil Hitler." That was fun. Then there was getting spat on and flicked off...
