Guys are afraid of commitment cuz they want to have their cake and eat it too. they want to have the trophy wife/gf and still want to talk to other girls. sometimes they feel when they are in a long term relationship to go and see if they still "got it" and talk to other females.

men think because they tell a girl that they love them they can get over and that the girlfrend is always forgiving.

Most of the time, its when they are with their single friends and they get caught up in it too cuz his friends are talking to women

The same reason some women are: they've been burned in the past. Are you talking about commitment as in marriage? Or just being in a monogomous relationship? Because if you're being faithful to each other and things are working fine, why do you need marriage? People put too much emphesis on the wedding and marriage thing. If it's about going from seeing several people to being just with you~ and he's saying "NO" then leave. You deserve at least that in life.

A lot of guys figure if it's not broke why fix it? If you are in a good relationship, why is marriage necessary? The only thing marriage is is a legal agreement. If you are in a commited relationship that should be enough.

Because some girls take advantage.

They can't keep their mouth shut and will twist and add to as they go along.

And you wonder why some girls have a hard time finding the right one. Well the guy ran across the wrong one first.
