No, because it was also once Israel's soil. When Jews and Christians began moving there over a century ago, the Palestinians thought that they were crazy for wanting such a desolate land. It isn't desolate now. If you will notice, Palestinians are not wanting farmland and building factories for the needs of their own people, they want Israel gone so they can claim those productive properties.

Many years ago, some of my ancestors were up-rooted and moved to other places. The US government trashed the treaties and gave our land to others, who became more productive with it. Today, even if it was offered, American Indians know that they could not possibly rule the land if it were somehow given back. We (I'm an American Indian too) have resigned ourselves to our current place, realizing we can work to earn a good place in this which is still our land. Israel has an enormous number of Palestinians living and working peacefully--as Israelis. Some of those rockets the Palestinians rain upon Israel are falling on their own people, people who did not leave when the government changed. Look again, you've got the wrong ones pegged as evil, or can you tell?

Would you please go do some research prior to asking questions. There was no Palestinian state prior to the creation of Israel. What happened is that the Muslims when told about the possible creation of Israel in a few years got a UN sanction passed that reduced the homesteading from 10 years to 5 years. Than they over loaded the area 5 years before than refused to take the immigrants that they moved there back. Israel is also the only country to have won wars and given the territory back. Israel has always been asked to give more land, more patience, and more lives. The Europeans did not want them after WWII, the Muslims have never liked them. Why can't the peace lovers love the Jews also?

I come from a Jewish background, and while my own views aren't necessarily the same as other Jews, I believe that the violence should end. Israel and Palestine both have a right to exist, and I realize that deciding who gets what is such a difficult question. However, the longer that we can keep everyone talking and negotiating, the more likely it is that peace will really happen. The tone of your post sounds anti-Israel, and that I do have a problem with. I also have a huge problem with the notion that the Jews "control the media", and that we're "brainwashing" people. There is no conspiracy, and Jewish people are not your enemy or your master. I know that what I said sounds like glittering generalities, but that's the best that I can do. Jews are not out to get you.

No way. The state of Israel was created by the UN under resolution 181. It was by mutual agreement by many countries including those who live in Israel and Palestine.

By the way, since that 1948 agreement, Israel has a 95% literacy rate and Palestine has a 56% ILLITERACY rate. Israel has built up economic viabilty. Palestine has created hate and discord. They destroyed the greenhouses provided. All they want to do is cry and fight.

The US was created somewhat the same way but we had to fight England to get them to agree to have this land.
